Your barcode will appear here.

How it works

Type a number or some text and generate the barcode, then download it as an image. It uses Code 128, which almost every barcode scanner reads and which holds letters, numbers and symbols, so it suits your own labels: stock, parts, files, library books or asset tags.

Is this the barcode for selling in shops?

No. The EAN and UPC barcodes printed on products sold in shops use numbers issued by GS1, which in India is GS1 India. Code 128 is for labelling your own things, where you choose what the barcode says. For a product barcode, use the EAN or UPC barcode generator.

Printing tips

Print it sharp and at its own proportions; a stretched or blurry barcode may not scan. Leave some white space on both sides, and scan a test print before labelling everything.
